Oh and I love when someone says a bike trail has to be shut down for environmental reasons. Usually it means they are going to build houses, strip malls or clear cut it in the next few years.

That was hard to watch in parts.. Sad to see what can be such a positive thing for a community fall because of short sightedness. We need to do something about "liability" in our society. I think we need to move towards a little more personal liability. So many people can not/ will not take personal responsibility for anything these days. Short of a malicious act by someone else (I'm thinking like, hanging a trip wire or something), if I get hurt riding my bike it's my fault. The end. I'm grown up and it's my choice to ride my bike around the woods like I do. Cycling keeps me fit, happy, has helped me see more of our world, and keeps me from choking people out on a daily basis, and probably most importantly given me the drive to get educated so I can further delve into the world of bike and afford to continue doing what I LOVE to do. Mountain bikes have shaped who I am. Besides if it wasn't bikes I'd probably be more into fast cars... And that probably scares the society more, or at least should!

Now that would be a fun weekend.

I saw where you buried your rotor in the tree. That is impressive! I got some more work done on the second half of eco-line down toward the std done today. And hit the big rock jump down there for the first time to. I hope to get the STD rebuilt this week and that whole line should be pretty much done.. for now.
